Poison, from Parfums Christian Dior, was created in 1985 by perfumer Édouard Fléchier. It's a heady, oriental-floral fragrance, even overdosed with tuberose and fruity notes (red fruits). Created by Véronique Monode, the bottle is shaped like an amethyst-colored apple (violet crystals) to accentuate the poisonous side of its name, a reference to poison but also a nod to the myths of Eve and the tale of Snow White.
